"yes and…."

Goal: advancing towards the goals by means of active listening. "Yes and.." is a conflict resolution technique. By saying "Yes" you prove you are listening and delay your criticism' while the "and" allows you to add your opinion.

Exercise: work in pairs. Each pair chooses a debatable subject and practice the "Yes and.." technique.
